This study investigated the relationship between academic self-efficacy, academic procrastination, and well-being among Azerbaijani participants. The data was collected from 1657 participants who completed self-reported questionnaires measuring academic self-efficacy, academic procrastination, and well-being. The analyses of the study involved the use of correlation and structural equation modeling. The results of the structural equation modeling revealed that academic procrastination partially mediated the relationship between academic self-efficacy and well-being. The bootstrapping procedure also confirmed that the indirect effect of academic self-efficacy on well-being through academic procrastination was significant. Specifically, the data showed that higher levels of academic self-efficacy were associated with greater well-being, while higher levels of academic procrastination were associated with lower well-being. These findings add to the current understanding of the complex interplay between academic self-efficacy, procrastination, and well-being and may have important implications for interventions aimed at promoting academic success and well-being among students. Additionally, the study discusses the limitations and future research directions related to this topic.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on …
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on healthcare professionals worldwide has been significant, affecting both their physical and emotional well-being. This has led to the emergence of a major concern known as occupational stress or burnout syndrome characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and feelings of reduced personal accomplishment. The present research is driven by the need to understand the specific factors contributing to post-pandemic burnout in Azerbaijani medical doctors and identify potential interventions to mitigate its adverse effects. The aim of the study was to investigate the mediating role of hope in the relationship between the psychological resilience of medical doctors and the level of job burnout. Brief Psychological Resilience Scale, Maslach Burnout Inventory Scale, and Dispositional Hope Scale were used to measure the outcome of interest. A total of 303 medical doctors, with a mean age of 39 years (SD 10.25), participated in our study, and a significant majority (79.5%) of them were female. Almost 80% of participants reported being married and 73.2% were working in the central hospitals. Correlation analyses showed that job burnout is negatively related to psychological resilience and hope. On the other hand, psychological resilience was positively associated with hope. In addition, structural equation modeling revealed that hope played a mediating role in the relationship between psychological resilience and burnout sub-dimensions (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment). Based on the results of this research, increasing the level of psychological resilience …

Examining the academic locus of control, procrastination, and school satisfaction is crucial for understanding student wellbeing and educational outcomes. The purpose of this study was to explore the potential mediating role of academic procrastination in the association between academic locus of control and school satisfaction in a sample of adolescents (N= 628; X = 13.30, SD= 1.74) residing in various regions of Azerbaijan. The results revealed that higher levels of internal locus of control were positively related to school satisfaction, while increased levels of external locus of control were negatively associated with school satisfaction. The analysis using structural equation modeling showed that school satisfaction was partially influenced by academic procrastination, which acted as a mediator in the relationship between internal locus of control and school satisfaction. Additionally, academic procrastination fully mediated the relationship between external locus of control and school satisfaction. These findings were further discussed in the context of existing literature, and recommendations were provided for future research in this area.

Fundamental changes in economic conditions of Azerbaijan …
Fundamental changes in economic conditions of Azerbaijan have influenced a number of areas. Transformation of Azerbaijani society, its social structure and institutes are accompanied by changes in demographic processes. The determination of character and range of the relations between demograhic event and process allows us to manage them in a more effective and reasonable way. The study of demographic processes, including the natural movement of population and its dynamics, is not only of theoretical importance. Being one of the main terms to make such or any other pratical decisions, such studies are attached great importance in management of public life of a country. The purpose of the research work is to provide statistical evaluation of current demographic data in the country. The article, first and foremost, links the relations among demographic indicators with theoretical analysis. In the article, the authors assess the dynamics of demographic processes in Azerbaijan and the factors affecting them. The article also measures the influence level of results on factors through regression-correlation analysis, determines the rate of relation frequency and finds out the role of factors studied in total change of results, which is achieved by adequacy verification of the model. It can be concluded upon the studies that, birth has been main factor to determine the growth rate of population in the country. Continuous natural increase is the result of an increase in the birth rate. Birth, which is characterized by emergence of new members in the population, is a positive aspect of population reproduction.

Adapting the Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) …
Adapting the Interpersonal Support Evaluation List (ISEL) to the Azerbaijani context is of critical importance for ensuring the valid and reliable assessment of perceived social support within the cultural and linguistic framework. The identification and evaluation of interpersonal support are essential, as empirical evidence consistently highlights its role as a key protective factor contributing to individuals’ psychological resilience, wellbeing, and overall mental health. This study addresses this gap by adapting ISEL for Azerbaijani students. The study sample consisted of 551 university students enrolled in Azerbaijani universities. The adaptation process included confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), assessment of criterion-related validity, and reliability testing. Additionally, network analysis was employed to investigate the relationships between interpersonal support and well-being, psychological resilience, depression, anxiety, and stress. The adaptation process included performing a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to evaluate the applicability of the original 12-item structure of the scale within the Azerbaijani cultural context. The CFA findings revealed a refined structure consisting of 9 items across three distinct factors, exhibiting an acceptable model fit. Furthermore, the scale demonstrated high internal consistency, as evidenced by robust reliability coefficients, including Cronbach’s alpha, McDonald’s omega, and Guttman’s lambda. Furthermore, the findings revealed that interpersonal support and wellbeing were negatively associated with depression, stress, and anxiety, and positively associated with psychological resilience. These results …
