Zöhrə Əliyeva Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyasının Fəlsəfə və Sosiologiya İnstitutunun Beynəlxalq əlaqələr şöbəsinin müdiri vəzifəsində fəaliyyət göstərir və fəlsəfə üzrə fəlsəfə doktoru elmi dərəcəsinə malikdir. Onun elmi fəaliyyəti əsasən Azərbaycan mədəniyyətinin tədqiqi, maarifçilik hərəkatı, multikulturalizm, gender bərabərsizliyi, sufilik və dini məsələlərə yönəlmişdir. Tədqiqatlarında Azərbaycanın intellektual tarixini, Şərq və Qərb mədəniyyətlərinin sintezini və sosial struktur hadisələrini araşdırır. Əsas əsərləri arasında 'Enlightenment Movement in Azerbaijan' (2019) məqaləsi Azərbaycanda maarifçilik hərəkatının konseptual çərçivəsini təhlil edərək 4 istinad almışdır və 'The multicultural nature of Azerbaijani space' (2018) məqaləsi isə Azərbaycanın multikultural modelini təqdim edərək 2 istinad qazanmışdır. Bu işlər beynəlxalq indeksli jurnallarda dərc olunmuş və elmi platformalarda müzakirə edilmişdir. Onun elmmetrik göstəricilərinə görə, Google Scholar-də 8 nəşr, 6 ümumi sitat, h-index 2, i10-index 0, AMEA DərgiPark-da isə 1 nəşr qeyd olunmuşdur.

This article explores the role of early twentieth-century philosophical studies in shaping modernist ideas of nationalism and universalism in Azerbaijan and the Caucasus. It analyzes the synthesis of materialist thought, traditions, and innovations, as well as evolving notions of power, state, and identity. The philosophical heritage of this period marked a key enlightenment-democratic stage in Azerbaijan’s intellectual history. The article aims to reveal the impact of European Enlightenment ideas on Azerbaijani literary and theoretical thought, comparing their origins, similarities, and distinctions. Methodologically, it applies a complex, comparative, and systematic approach. The research novelty lies in offering the first comprehensive analysis of European Enlightenment influence on Azerbaijani thought, examining the synthesis of Eastern and Western ideas and clarifying features of Azerbaijani education at the turn of the century.

In the nineteenth century in Azerbaijan literature new intellectual atmosphere was emerged. The emergence of new creative literary forces reflected in itself the synthesis of traditional Islamic and contemporary Russian-European culture as a social and cultural phenomenon. Azerbaijani culture is a unique culture that combines cultures of Caucasian peoples, Turkic-Muslim peoples, European peoples, and has emerged at the junction of the related religions and ideologies of great civilizations like the East and the West, small and numerous nations of the world. What is particularly important is the knowledge of the model of religious tolerance and secularism that currently Azerbaijan represents, also through the'conception of seminars and international public conferences on the issue as the" Forum on Intercultural Dialogue". The Forum, founded in 2008, is promoted by UNESCO, the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations, the World Tourism Organisation, the Council of Europe and the Presidency of Azerbaijan.

In this work is investigated history of Azerbaijan in Islamic period. All historical sources about this article are given and their influence on Islamic culture to Azerbaijan is especially emphasized by analyzing through scientific methods. It is noted that there are ancient and wealthy history of Azerbaijan which is rooted with Islam, which had influenced to all spheres of Azerbaijan society. As a result, Azerbaijan linked unique identified and grandiose rich culture. We can show it in all cultural examples and ornaments. At the same time, authors investigate the religious structures, education, policy and historical facts in all periods of Islam in Azerbaijan. Also, it is indicated the new formulation of Islam in Azerbaijan society. Certainly, it is given information about influential Sufi movements, which acted in all towards of Azerbaijan. The Safavids, Hurufis, Suhrawardiya, Naqshbandi and Khalwati orders and their effect were especially emphasized, investigated as the research object which are speared in all Muslim World.

Gender inequality is a characteristic of the social structure according to which various social groups, in this case men and women, have stable differences and the resulting unequal opportunities in society. When forming the psychological appearance of representatives of gender groups, established gender stereotypes cannot be discounted: they often act as an obstacle to achieving genuine equality between men and women in society. Issues of gender inequality are a limitless area for the study of attitudes, sexist prejudices, discrimination, the emergence of social roles and norms. As with any preconceptions, sexist biases are waning and a thing of the past, but latent bias remains. Nevertheless, when shaping the psychological appearance of representatives of gender groups, established gender stereotypes cannot be discounted: they often act as an obstacle to achieving genuine equality between men and women in society (Burn, 2002). The early years of the 20th century were considered as the nationalspiritual renaissance of Azerbaijan people, the national freedom movement, the return to national roots, and the peak of new, national thought in the history of enlightenment and statehood. Enlightenment, as a large-scale cultural-educational movement of public opinion, was first formed in France with all its classical accuracy, consistency, and radicalism. In the article the author states that Akhundzadehis an outstanding philosopher who has improved histhoughts and opinions both on materialism and religious criticism for the firsttime in the history of Azerbaijan.
