Tədqiqatları konseptual olaraq humanitar əməkdaşlıq, informasiya mübadiləsi, diaspora faktorları və enerji maraqlarının təhlilinə yönəlib. Cooperation in the information sphere takes a special place in Russian-Armenian relations. For the parties, all kinds of information exchange is considered an important form of cooperation. The article analyzes the current situation and problems of the common information space between the two states. The position of Russia and the attitude towards the Russian language are studied in Armenian mass media. Diaspora factor also has its influence on Russian-Armenian relations. There is a common understanding that the diaspora in Armenia has great potential and brings social and financial capital. The article examines the Armenian diaspora, organizations and their main activities in Russia.

After the signing of the contract of …
After the signing of the contract of the century in 1994, the itineraries for new routes to transport the energy resources of Azerbaijan, a country without direct access to the ocean, has been the subject of fierce debate against the backdrop of the geopolitical interests of the world’s major powers. While the construction of the Baku-Batumi oil pipeline in the early 20th century was a challenge of a technological nature, this time the main “gamble” was geopolitical. The article therefore considers choosing of alternatives of true transport routes and an impact of the USA thereupon. The BTC project is the first comprehensive project aimed at changing the status quo in the region; the latter being the only alternative route to export oil out of the region, the Russian route to Novorossiysk. Since 1993, Russia, which is still the most notable power in Central Asia and Caucasus, did its utmost to keep the region under its uncontested influence by utilizing every possible political, economic and military instrument within the framework of its popular “Near Abroad” doctrine. For the first time, Russia's monopoly over oil export routes from the Caspian region has been broken. This article also analyses the course of events that led to the realization of the BTC pipeline where an American policy played an important role.

In the republics of the former USSR, Russian language is known for its prestigious and official status. Unlike the other republics, Armenian was the state language in Armenia back in the Soviet times. Armenia, which gained its independence from the USSR in 1991, began a complete monopoly of the Armenian language in all areas. Even though the majority of the population of Armenia is closely connected with Russia, with each passing year, the Russian language is being increasingly marginalized in the country. Political circles in Armenia are not interested in the promotion of the Russian language and culture in Armenia, which is primarily a manifestation of racial and ethnic discrimination. They perceive Russian as the language of an exceptionally small ethnic minority. This is also a violation of the requirements of the allied strategy between Russia and Armenia. Taking into account all these factors, the article examines the current situation of the Russian language in Armenia and analyzes the measures taken by the government in this area.

В статье рассматривается трансатлантический вектор внешнеполитической деятельности правоцентристских президентов Франции Ж. Ширака и Н. Саркози в период с 1995 по 2012 г. Особое внимание уделено динамике развития франко-американского сотрудничества в рамках НАТО. После окончания «холодной войны», распада СССР на смену биполярному миру пришёл однополярный. Возникла необходимость в реформировании НАТО, поскольку основная цель организации–противостояние государствам с социалистическим строем, потеряла прежнюю актуальность. Для Франции это была возможность заявить о себе как о державе с мировой ответственностью. Однако США не хотели терять лидерство в НАТО. Если период президентства Ж. Ширака ознаменовался кризисом во взаимоотношениях в связи с военной операцией в Ираке, то президентство атлантиста Н. Саркози способствовало устранению большинства противоречий и возвращению Франции в командные структуры НАТО. Установлено, что Ж. Ширак и Н. Саркози во взаимоотношениях с США и НАТО руководствовались голлистскими принципами и ставили на первое место французские национальные интересы. В этот период Франция выступала за реформирование НАТО, за установление равноправного партнёрства всех членов организации, за получение европейскими государствами большей самостоятельности от США. Although cooperation in the humanitarian field between Russia and Armenia in 1991-2023 has a special place, it is important to investigate it as it has not been comprehensively researched until now. It is known that humanitarian cooperation occupies one of the important places in the foreign policy activity of every state as "soft power". Since the factor of humanitarian cooperation plays an important role in decision-making mechanisms in foreign policy, special importance is given to activities in this field between the countries. The main purpose of writing the article is to research the establishment of the contractual and legal basis of cooperation between Russia and Armenia, its goals, main forms, the dynamics of implementation and development of cooperation in the field of culture, the impact of education and information, diaspora and public organizations, cooperation in the field of science, and to make scientific and theoretical generalizations. Historical-chronological analysis, comparative analysis and critical analysis methods were used during the research.
