Vafa Atayeva serves as a Scientific Secretary in the Directorate of the Sheki Regional Scientific Center. Her scientific activity focuses on the study of the chemical composition, biological activity, and practical application of plant-based extracts. It was established that the bioextracts BE-I and BE-II have the same mineral composition and contain 25 mineral elements. The bioextracts obtained by extraction with distilled water and 70% ethanol contain 28.51% and 14.61% mineral elements respectively. The amount of macronutrients (K, Na, Mg, Ca, Fe, P) in BE-I is 22.97%, micronutrients (Ti, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Zr, Sn, Sr, Y, Al, S, Se, Si, Ba, Pb, Rb, V) – 5.54%; in BE-II 11.60% and 3.01%, respectively. It was established that the BE-II contains 85.4% biologically active substances (BAS) and 28 major therapeutic substances, while the BE-I contains 71.5% BAS and 14 major therapeutic substances. The selection of hazelnut green leafy cover as an item is based on the fact that it is a natural organic resource that is now being discarded as waste. In the article, the results are presented about the determination of mineral elements and bioactive compounds in the bio-extracts of 70% ethyl alcohol (BE-III) and distillation water (BE-IV) obtained from the green leafy cover of the plant (Corylus avellane L.) where grow in the north-western region of Azerbaijan. According to our study, BE-III has 25 chemical elements, excluding Rb, for a total of 12.797%, while BE-IV contains 26 chemical elements for a total of 21.347%. Amounts of macroelements are 10.4%, and microelements are 2.69% in the content of BE-III, while amounts of macroelements are 17.82%, and amounts of microelements are 3.53% in the content of BE-IV. Amounts of organic compounds are 87.2% in the content of BE-III, while their amounts are 78.65% in the content of BE-IV. The amount of Zn, which has antioxidant activity, is 0.009%, and the amount of Se is 0.002% in the content of BE-IV. These values vary in the content of BE-III, the amount of Zn is 0.01%, but the amount of Se is 0.001%. 15 bioactive substances were identified in the content of BE-III bio-extract; however, 5 bioactive substances were identified in the content of BE-IV bio-extract. The main purpose of this work is to prepare biocomposites for the dual purpose of modified silk fibroin (Bombyx mori L.), which protects against the destructive effects of bioactive, antioxidant and ultraviolet rays. For this purpose, an aqueous extract of autumn leaves of the anthocyanin-rich smoke tree plant (Cotinus coggygria L.) was applied. 2% thiourea solution was used to increase the durability of the modified SF to external influences and for use in textiles. The intensity of free radicals in silk fibroin-anthocyanin (SFA) and silk fibroin-anthocyanin-thiourea (SFAT) biocomposites modified by the Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) method was studied. Maximum adsorption time was determined 20 minutes and the intensity of free radicals in SFA bio-composite was 80-85% and in SFAT biocomposite 50-55% in relation to silk fibroin untreated. Feeding Mulberry Silkworms with Autumn Leaf Extracts book Vafa Atayeva 0 2024 Because of their high amount of biologically … Because of their high amount of biologically active compounds, anthocyanins are a phenolic compound known not only as food but also for their use in modern medicine. In this study, the effects of autumn leaf extracts of Amaranthus (Amaranthus) and Cotinus coggygria (Cotinus coggygria L.) rich in anthocyanins on the biology of mulberry silkworm were investigated in a non-laboratory setting. Autumn leaf extracts of Amaranth and Cotinus coggygria were heated at 600 C in different proportions for 90 min. and extracted by brewing in water. Mulberry leaves were used for feeding silkworms after being soaked with autumn leaf extract prepared in ratios of 1: 3, 1: 1, and 3: 1. The results showed that silkworms fed with autumn leaf extracts had improved silk production biology and higher survival. 1: 1 concentration of the extract gave the best results achievements in different scientific fields. Effect of Gamma Irradiation on the Dielectric Properties and X-Ray Phase Analysis of the Polypropylene Na+ Montmorillonite Composite East European Journal of Physics /N: 2 səh: 342-347 Rasmiyya L Mammadova, Kamala М Guseinova, Kifayat A Guliyeva, Khayal Sh Valibayov, Vafa E Atayeva, Dilara M Qafarova 0 2025 Effect of γ-irradiation on the dielectric properties … Effect of γ-irradiation on the dielectric properties of polymer composites based on polypropylene (PP) with Na+-montmorillonite (MMT) nanoparticles has been investigated. It has been found that γ-irradiation in the dose range of 100-200 kGy leads to slight deterioration in the dependences of ε= f (T)(a) and tgδ= f (T) of the polypropylene-based composite with Na+ MMT filler. Further increasing the radiation dose, a sharp increase in ε and tgδ above the temperature~ 440 K has been observed. The obtained results show that after irradiation, the active centers, radicals, and defects formed in the polymer structure interact with filler nanoparticles, reducing the mobility of the polymer chain and consequently decreasing the values of ε and tagδ of the composite. But at an irradiation dose of 300 kGy, the properties of the interphase layer deteriorate as a result of incipient destruction, which leads to an insignificant increase in the values of ε and tgδ. The results of the analyses showed that the introduction of Na nanoclays (MMT) into polypropylene in an amount of 0.5% by volume leads to some improvement in the dielectric properties before and after irradiation. It is assumed that the deterioration of the dielectric properties during irradiation in composites occurs due to changes in the crosslinking and destruction processes in the polymer matrix and at the polymer-filler interphase boundary. It is shown that due to γ-irradiation of polymer composites, it is possible to expediently control its dielectric and electrophysical properties. Daha çox

Therefore, the study aims to determine the physiologically active compounds and radical scavenging activity (RSA) of the bioextracts prepared with 70% ethanol (BE-I) and distilled water (BE-II) from the ripe fruits of Smilax exselca L. (Smilacaceae) plant which grows in the northwestern region of Azerbaijan by physicochemical methods ((GC/MS), ultraviolet (UV) spectrophotometers). As a result of the research, 35 compounds were observed in BE-I and 30 compounds in BE-II, the amount of main physiologically active compounds was 37.14% with 12 compounds in BE-I, and 19.86% with 6 compounds in BE-II. For instance, antioxidant properties of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (C6H6O3), 6-Octadecenoic acid (C18H34O2), hepta-2,4-dienoic acid, methyl ester (C8H12O2), antibacterial traits of ascaridole epoxide (C10H16O3), α-D-Galactopyranose,6-O-(trimethylsilyl)-cyclic 1,2:3,4-bis methylboronate (C11H22B2O6Si), hexadecanoic acid, methylester (C17H34O2), flavoring compounds of 2H-Pyran, 3,6 Dihidro-4–methyl-2-2-Methyl-propenyl (C10H16O), E-10-Dodecen-1-ol propionate (C15H28O2), anticancer properties of 2-Trifluoroacetoxydodecane (C14H25F3O2), anti-inflammatory properties of silicicacid, diethyl bis(trimethylsilyl) ester (C10H28O4Si3), antifungal traits of D-Mannitol,1-decylsulfonyl (C16H34O7S) were determined.
