Academician Isa Habibbayli is a well-known literary scholar in the Azerbaijani scientific community, as well as the head of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi. His scientific activity mainly covers various periods of Azerbaijani literature, the works of prominent writers, literary-theoretical problems and literary relations. Isa Habibbayli, who has 228 citations, an h-index of 7 and an i10-index of 2 in his Google Scholar profile, has 152 publications. His scientific interests cover a wide range, such as Azerbaijani literature, literary criticism, the heritage of classics such as Nizami Ganjavi and Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, Turkic world literature and the periodization of literature. The scientist's works contain valuable analyzes of various stages of Azerbaijani literature, literary trends, as well as the creativity of literary figures. 22 publications are recorded in AMEA DergiPark. Among I. The author connects the existence of the creative method of socialist realism as a single artistic method in Soviet literature with the formation of the one-party society structure of the former Soviet Union. The establishment and development of an independent legal democratic state in Azerbaijan since the 90s led to the creation of an artistic and ideological field for the transition of a single creative method of literature to multi-method literature. For this purpose the articles “Yerevan city”(54 pages),“Derechichek”(14 pages),“Tatar proverbs”(19 pages) by Stepan Pavlovich Zelinski, prominent Russian enlightener, published in the journal “The Collection of the Materials to Describe the Terrain and Tribes in the Caucasus” of Caucasus Educational Department in Tbilisi, 1881 and other materials regarding this issue are investigated. Pieces of information about this city‟ s neighborhoods‟ names that were gathered by Stepan Zelinski who was born in Yerevan and worked as a teacher in schools here, his comments and maps were drawn by him demonstrate that there were few Armenian people in that city. So, naming only one of the thirty neighborhoods in Yerevan as “Armenian neighborhood” in 1881 and informations about existence of some Azerbaijani neighborhoods in the article help us to imagine that Azerbaijanis were main citizens and Armenians were minorities in that city which has international composition in terms of population. Outstanding personalities as Ibn Sina, Kharazmi, Bukhari, Ulugbey are highly respected in Azerbaijan. The works by Nizami Ganjavi, Khagani, Nasimi and Mahammad Fuzuli have been published with large circulation. in Uzbekistan. Alisher Navoi's manuscripts are kept and studied at the Institute of Manuscripts named after Mahammad Fuzuli of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. The Azerbaijani thinker Mirza Fatali Akhundzadeh continued the traditions of Hamza Hakimzadeh Niyazi in Uzbekistan. Molla Nasreddin magazine, published by Mammadguluzadeh, had a large number of readerships in Uzbekistan. There are creative relations between Azerbaijani and Uzbek writers and poets. The author connects the existence of the creative method of socialist realism as a single artistic method in Soviet literature with the formation of the one-party society structure of the former Soviet Union. The establishment and development of an independent legal democratic state in Azerbaijan since the 90s led to the creation of an artistic and ideological field for the transition of a single creative method of literature to multi-method literature. The article answers the question of what multimethod literature means and discusses its features. The author scientifically substantiates that the literary movements that emerged throughout the multi-method literature era functioned as an artistic method and brings to attention the scientific and theoretical conclusions he made about the literary movements that appeared in Azerbaijani literature. По сути, данные исследования, представленные в вузовских учебниках и книгах по истории литературы, опирались на марксистскую теорию общественных формаций, в соответствии с которой история литературы была разделена на следующие этапы: первобытнообщинный и рабовладельческий строй–древний период, феодальный строй–средневековый период, ХIХ–начало ХХ вв.–литература Нового времени. Советская литература квалифицировалась как современная. Однако подобная периодизация, нивелирующая многовековую историю художественной литературы, не соответствовала отличным друг от друга историко-литературным процессам, пройденным разными народами. From this perspective,“Iskendernameh” is a magnificent and socially and artistically generalized consequence of the genius poet's creative ideas. Nizami revived the ancient Greek science and culture with this work, and brought it into large-scale literary milleu and artistic work by harmonizing the topic of justice and humanity with Azerbaijani thinking and reality. In this work, the poet encapsulated the issues that worried him and made him think throughout his life, and acted as a true scientist and thinker before us.He did not replicate any of the scientific or literary works he cited, and as in “Leyli and Majnun”, he created a new idea-content from the certain motives in a different direction. For this purpose the articles “Yerevan city”(54 pages),“Derechichek”(14 pages),“Tatar proverbs”(19 pages) by Stepan Pavlovich Zelinski, prominent Russian enlightener, published in the journal “The Collection of the Materials to Describe the Terrain and Tribes in the Caucasus” of Caucasus Educational Department in Tbilisi, 1881 and other materials regarding this issue are investigated. Pieces of information about this city‟ s neighborhoods‟ names that were gathered by Stepan Zelinski who was born in Yerevan and worked as a teacher in schools here, his comments and maps were drawn by him demonstrate that there were few Armenian people in that city. Səmimi və yumşaq rəftarına görə anası onu qazaxça təvazökar mehriban demək olan Abay adı ilə çağırmışdır. Sonra o, cavan yaşlarından etibarən yazdığı şeirləri Abay təxəllüsü ilə təqdim etmişdir. Abay Kunanbayevin dünyagörüşünün formalaşmasında Semipalatinskdə keçən təhsil illəri xüsusi əhəmiyyətə malik olmuşdur. Atasının tövsiyəsi ilə o, 1857-ci ildə Semipalatinskdə mədrəsə təhsili almağa başlamışdır. Azerbaijani literature in Ahmed Kabakli’s researches	Müqayisəli Ədəbiyyatşünaslıq/Comparative Literature /N: 01	Isa Habibbayli	0	2022	In the article is provided detailed information … In the article is provided detailed information about the difficulties that Ahmed Kabakli, well-known literary scholar of Turkey in the 20th century, faced in compiling materials on Azerbaijani literature, as well as in studying and presenting them to the Turkish scientific community. It is noted that the materials related to Azerbaijani literature are covered extensively in 4 volumes of the 5-volume book “Turkish Literature”. It is clear from the article that Ahmed Shemide from Turkish origin living in Germany played an invaluable role in delivering the materials about Azerbaijani literature to Ahmed Kabakli. He sent the materials posted to Germany by the prominent scholar from Baku, Abbas Zamanov and People’s Poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzade to the Turkey–Ahmed Kabakli on his own behalf. Thus Ahmed Kabakli was one of the prominent scholars who obtained and read on Azerbaijani literature in Turkey in the 20th century and then researched and popularized it. In the article is especially emphasized that the conveying the full text of the poems “Azerbaijan is a jugular in my heart” and “The longing for Karabakh” by Turkish poet from Azerbaijan origin–Yavuz Bulent Bakiler to the readers in the book “Turkish Literature” completes the theme of Azerbaijan in this multivolume.
