Xədicə Heydərova Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyasının Nəsimi adına Dilçilik İnstitutunun Azərbaycan dilinin tarixi şöbəsində şöbə müdiri vəzifəsində çalışır. Elmi dərəcə və elmi adı yoxdur. Elmi fəaliyyəti əsasən Azərbaycan dilçiliyi və leksikoqrafiya sahəsində cəmlənmişdir. Google Scholar göstəricilərinə görə, 28 elmi nəşri var, 1 sitat alıb, h-index 1-dir, i10-index 0-dır. Web of Science sistemində isə ümumi 13 sənəd qeyd olunub, bunlardan 3-ü indeksləşdirilib, 10-u indeksləşdirilməyib. Bu göstəricilər tədqiqatların beynəlxalq sitat təsirinin məhdud olduğunu, lakin nəşr həcminin nisbətən yüksək olduğunu göstərir. Nəşr dinamikası 2020-2024-cü illər arasında fəal olmaqla, tədqiqatların davamlılığını əks etdirir. The velar, voiced sonorous consonant “sagir nun” …
The velar, voiced sonorous consonant “sagir nun” or “velar nun” (ŋ, nq, nğ, ng), which is common to all Turkic languages and does not appear at the beginning of a word, but only in the middle and at the end, was used in stable form in Medieval Arabic Turkic written sources until the beginning of the 20th century, but reflected with different graphical sings because of non-existing unique orthographic norms. The article analyzes the graphic solution of the sonorous consonant “sagir nun” in Medieval Turkic and Azerbaijani written monuments, reveals the paradigm of the rules for its application in word roots and morpheme suffixes in our literary and artistic sources. The article is divided into three subheadings: “Introduction”, “The Graphical Solution of the Sonorous Consonant “sagir nun” in Medieval Turkic and Azerbaijani Written Monuments”, “Applied Rules of the Sonorous Consonant “sagir nun” in Azerbaijani Written Monuments of the XIII-XX Centuries”. A short study on the usage of non-usage of the sonorous consonant in Azerbaijani textology is presented in the introduction. The second subheading examines which letters are used to denote this consonant sound in Azerbaijani written monuments and is clearly shown in the table. The last subsection classifies the sonorous consonant sound “sagir nun” is used in which words and suffixes under eight sections.

According to Sufi beliefs, there are spiritual centers in the human body that lead him to spiritual perfection. This should not be confused with the chakras in Hinduism. Because the chakras are the centers of exchange of physical and mental energy of the body. The seven chakras in Hinduism correspond to the seven levels of the soul in Sufism. In the work of Nasimi, one can find each of the lexical units expressing the names of lataifs and related concepts. Here is the heart, soul, secret and akhfa, which are called lataifi-khamsa; lexical units such as soul, earth, water, wind and fire are observed in five anecdotes from the people of the world. In addition to naming these anecdotes, Nasimi also uses the concepts and synonyms associated with them: ummuhat, nature, chahar, king, four, unsur, anasir, khak and turab. The mystic poet mentions only the nafsi-ammara and nafsi-shum, which are not included in this order, from the seven levels of the soul accepted in Sufism.

The article is devoted to the mythonymy used in the language of the poet Imadaddin Nasimi, who is a prominent representative of the Azerbaijani literature of Sufism and is distinguished by his Hurufi views. As a result of the study, it was found that the ideological basis, or rather the core, of the creativity of the mystic poet, which make up the religious and mythological concept, are the names of Allah, the dargah of God, the afterlife, the heavenly layers, the names of creatures and places associated with the night of Miraj, etc. e. The following main types of mythonyms are observed in the poet's work: theonyms, demononyms, mythoanthroponyms, mythoponyms, mythocosmonyms, mythocthematonyms, mythophytonyms, mythozoonyms, mythoornithonyms. Some of them have their own branches. Theonyms are divided into monotheistic onyms (the names and attributes of Allah, which are part of asmaul-husna and whose inclusion is disputed; onyms that are the product of the creative imagination of the poets of classical literature and related to Sufi terminology) and polytheistic onyms. Myphotoponyms (mythical geographical names) include mythooronyms (mythical names of mountains), mythospeleonims (mythical names of caves, rocks, wells), mythohydronyms (mythical names of rivers, springs), mythoecclezionims (places of religious worship), mythoagoronyms (mythical names of squares and open spaces) and includes mythodryonyms (names of mythical gardens and parks, such as the Garden of Iram and the Gardens of Eden). Imadaddin Nasimi (1369-1417), the great Azerbaijani poet who was able to demonstrate his innate poet’s imagination with his batin, tasawwuf, huruf and mystical views in an amazing way, paid special attention to the symbolism of Tasawwuf literature in his work. The poet who played on words in hidden meanings mentioned types of calligraphy of the Arabic alphabet such as Muhaqqaq, Ghubaar, Naskh, Thuluth and Rayhani while glorifying the human image. Fazlullah Naimi, the founder of Hurufism, believed that Adam’s face is al-Lawh al-Mahfuz, ie a book of God, and ism-i azam, ie a prayer that is the totality of God’s blessed names. Because Adam’s face bears the signs of the name of the God or the 32 divine words from the ism-i azam (32 letters of the Persian alphabet in which the “Javidanname”, the holy book of the Hurufis, is written). Another reason is that the 14 lines on Adam’s face correspond to the 14 letters (فلا فلا ملا ملا ىه) appearing from the God’s name (الله). See:[8, p, 256].

The famous Uyghur linguist and lexicographer of the 11th century, Mahmoud Kashgari, in the preface to the dictionary “Divan Lugat-atTurk”, although he cites the name of the dictionary of the 8th-century Arabic lexicographer Khalil bin Ahmed “Kitab al-Ain”, did not use it in terms of building the dictionary. In fact, Kashgari does not provide any information about the principles of constructing which dictionary served as an example for him. Many researchers believe that the dictionary by Abu Ibrahim Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Farabi “Divan al-adab fi bayan lugatilarab” is a prototype of the “Divan” by Kashgar. The article discusses similar and distinctive features of these two dictionaries. The article also speaks of the qafiya rhyme method, in Arabic lexicography associated with the name Ismail al-Jawhari, first used in reality in the al-Farabi dictionary “Divan al-adab”, although in a primitive form.

The article deals with such an important problem of linguistics as distinction between homonymy and polysemy. The distinction between homonymy and polysemy on the basis of the lexicographical material from the different Azerbaijani dictionaries is analysed and explained in it. The article also gives the special schemes that reflect the different kinds of connection between polysemes. The author has approached this problem not only from the applied linguistics point, but also focused on lexicological and semasiological theories of the matter.

В статье дан анализ термина «грамматические омонимы» и рассмотрен синтаксический способ отражения принципа грамматических омонимов в «Азербайджанско-русском словаре». Данный принцип оценивается автором как способ решения вопроса морфологического несоответствия между неродственными языками - азербайджанским и русским - основанный на критериях русской грамматики. Он актуален для перевода исследуемых единиц на русский язык. По мнению автора, приведенные в статье примеры оптимальны для решения данного вопроса.

This article examines the esoteric function of letters and language in the poetic universe of Imadaddin Nasimi, situating his work within the symbolic framework of the Hurufi doctrine. The research identifies a total of 26 unique letter combinations used by the poet. Among these, 7 are muqattaʿat—disjointed letters found at the beginnings of certain Qur’anic surahs—and 19 are encoded combinations based on Hurufi principles. Each of these structures is analyzed from semantic, abjad (numerological), and esoteric perspectives. The study reveals that letters in Nasimi’s poetry are not mere linguistic units but sacred symbols embodying divine realities, metaphysical truths, and ontological mysteries. His usage of muqattaʿat letters infuses his poetry with Qur’anic resonance and mystical depth, while Hurufi codes reflect a synthesis of divine speech, cosmic order, and the Perfect Human (al-Insān al-Kāmil). Nasimi conceives of language as a tool of gnosis, where each letter serves as a gateway to inner truth. Through the mystical interplay of form, sound, and meaning, he constructs a symbolic system that bridges earthly and divine realms. Thus, the esoteric nature of language in Nasimi’s poetry positions him as a central figure in both the Hurufi intellectual tradition and the wider heritage of Islamic metaphysical thought.

Азербайджанский поэт Имадеддин Насими (1369–1417), преданный пропагандист хуруфийского направления суфизма, резко отличается от средневековых поэтов-классиков своими эзотерическими и мистическими взглядами с пантеистическими и антропоморфическими наклонностями. В результате наших исследований было выявлено, что идейную основу, а точнее, ядро творчества поэта-мистика составляют имена Аллаха в исламе (эсмаи-хусна), место Бога, загробный мир, слои неба, имена существ и места, связанные с ночью Мираджа, религиозно-мифологические концепции, мифологические подходы и выражения, которые образно передают хуруфийскую идеологию. В данной статье мы выделили 6 типов мифонимов в творчестве поэта: 1) мифооронимы (названия гор и долин). Мифооронимы отражены в творчестве Насими в следующих лексических единицах: Кухи-Гаф, Сина и Тур, Вадийи-Агдас, Вадийи-Мугаддас, Мугаддаси Вади; 2) мифоспелеонимы (названия пещер, скал, колодцев). Мифоспелеонимы наблюдаются в стихотворениях Насими в лексических единицах Чахи-Бабил и Кахф; 3) мифогидронимы (названия мифических рек и родников). В стихах Насими упоминаются два названия мифогидронимов: Ковсар и Сальсябиль; 4) мифоэкклезионимы (названия мест религиозного исповедания). The velar, voiced sonorous consonant “sagir nun” or “velar nun” (ŋ, nq, nğ, ng), which is common to all Turkic languages and does not appear at the beginning of a word, but only in the middle and at the end, was used in stable form in Medieval Arabic Turkic written sources until the beginning of the 20th century, but reflected with different graphical sings because of non-existing unique orthographic norms. The article analyzes the graphic solution of the sonorous consonant “sagir nun” in Medieval Turkic and Azerbaijani written monuments, reveals the paradigm of the rules for its application in word roots and morpheme suffixes in our literary and artistic sources. The article is divided into three subheadings: “Introduction”, “The Graphical Solution of the Sonorous Consonant “sagir nun” in Medieval Turkic and Azerbaijani Written Monuments”, “Applied Rules of the Sonorous Consonant “sagir nun” in Azerbaijani Written Monuments of the XIII-XX Centuries”. A short study on the usage of non-usage of the sonorous consonant in Azerbaijani textology is presented in the introduction. The second subheading examines which letters are used to denote this consonant sound in Azerbaijani written monuments and is clearly shown in the table. The last subsection classifies the sonorous consonant sound “sagir nun” is used in which words and suffixes under eight sections.

According to Sufi beliefs, there are spiritual centers in the human body that lead him to spiritual perfection. This should not be confused with the chakras in Hinduism. Because the chakras are the centers of exchange of physical and mental energy of the body. The seven chakras in Hinduism correspond to the seven levels of the soul in Sufism. In the work of Nasimi, one can find each of the lexical units expressing the names of lataifs and related concepts. Here is the heart, soul, secret and akhfa, which are called lataifi-khamsa; lexical units such as soul, earth, water, wind and fire are observed in five anecdotes from the people of the world. In addition to naming these anecdotes, Nasimi also uses the concepts and synonyms associated with them: ummuhat, nature, chahar, king, four, unsur, anasir, khak and turab. The mystic poet mentions only the nafsi-ammara and nafsi-shum, which are not included in this order, from the seven levels of the soul accepted in Sufism.

The article is devoted to the mythonymy used in the language of the poet Imadaddin Nasimi, who is a prominent representative of the Azerbaijani literature of Sufism and is distinguished by his Hurufi views. As a result of the study, it was found that the ideological basis, or rather the core, of the creativity of the mystic poet, which make up the religious and mythological concept, are the names of Allah, the dargah of God, the afterlife, the heavenly layers, the names of creatures and places associated with the night of Miraj, etc. e. The following main types of mythonyms are observed in the poet's work: theonyms, demononyms, mythoanthroponyms, mythoponyms, mythocosmonyms, mythocthematonyms, mythophytonyms, mythozoonyms, mythoornithonyms. Some of them have their own branches. Theonyms are divided into monotheistic onyms (the names and attributes of Allah, which are part of asmaul-husna and whose inclusion is disputed; onyms that are the product of the creative imagination of the poets of classical literature and related to Sufi terminology) and polytheistic onyms. This study explores the anthropomorphic lexical units in the works of Imadaddin Nasimi, a prominent 14th-century Azerbaijani Sufi poet and a key figure in Hurufism. By analyzing specific terms such as shab, shabu-amrad, surati-Rahman, and mazhar, the research reveals how Nasimi poetically expressed the Hurufic concept of divine manifestation through human form. The study traces the origins of these lexical units to Prophet Muhammad’s hadiths, particularly those deemed controversial in Sunni and Shia traditions, and their philosophical implications in Islamic theology. The problem of cyclical cosmology in Imadaddin Nasimi’s poetry has not yet been examined in sufficient detail in modern Nasimi studies, particularly with regard to the lexical differentiation between the cosmic circulation of the heavens and the inner return of the human soul. A clearer description of this distinction may contribute to a more accurate reading of Sufi poetic language in medieval Azerbaijani Turkish literature. The purpose of this article was to identify, classify, and interpret the lexical units through which Nasimi conveyed the exoteric and esoteric dimensions of cyclical cosmology. To achieve this aim, the study applied close reading, semantic and etymological analysis, and descriptive, comparative, and classificatory methods, with selected references to classical Sufi thought. The analysis indicated that the exoteric dimension is represented by a relatively stable group of cosmological terms connected with celestial movement, the layered structure of the heavens, and planetary order. Lexical units such as “dawr”,“dawrān”,“falak”,“dawr-i falak”, and “charkh-i aflāk” appear in Nasimi’s poetry not simply as astronomical designations, but as components of a poetic model of universal order. The esoteric dimension, in turn, is expressed through a distinct lexical sequence associated with descent into material existence and ascent toward the divine source. Terms such as “maʿdan”,“nabāt”,“tuʿma-yi ḥaywān”,“ins u jān”,“marjaʿ”,“ṣuʿūd”,“ʿurūj”, and “rujūʿ” form a semantic pattern that can be understood as describing ontological and spiritual progression rather than reincarnation in its doctrinal sense.
