Xəzər Zeynalov Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyasının Memarlıq və İncəsənət İnstitutu, Müdriyyət şöbəsində elmi işçi-direktor müavini vəzifəsində çalışan, sənətşünaslıq üzrə fəlsəfə doktoru və dosent elmi adlarına malik tədqiqatçıdır. Onun elmi fəaliyyəti, əsasən, Azərbaycan təsviri sənətinin tarixi, beynəlxalq mədəni əlaqələri və müasir prosesləri ilə bağlıdır. Elmi nəşrlərinin sayına görə (Google Scholar-də 43 nəşr, AMEA DərgiPark-da 2 nəşr) fəal bir tədqiqatçıdır, lakin sitat göstəriciləri (5 ümumi sitat, h-index: 1) nəşrlərin beynəlxalq təsirinin məhdud olduğunu, daha çox regional və spesifik mövzulara yönəldiyini göstərir. Nəşr dinamikası, xüsusilə 2022-2023-cü illərdə artım tendensiyası nümayiş etdirir. This theme is more pronounced in landscape, portrait and thematic genres. The theme of Turkey stands out for its popularity in modern Azerbaijani fine art. Many Azerbaijani artists representing different generations addressed this topic. Some artists have created a series of works on Turkey. The theme of Turkey is more widely represented in the works of Ogtay Sadigzadeh, Jamil Mufidzadeh, Sakit Mammadov, Gunay Mehdizadeh and others. This theme is reflected not only in academic painting, but also in book graphics and decorative-applied art.

The article talks about the creation of the artistic image of the famous poetess Natavan in the fine arts of Azerbaijan. The author notes that interest in this image arose in the early 50s of the last century, when the 120th anniversary of the birth of the poetess was celebrated. Following the plastic portrait created by Omar Eldarov, the artists began to capture the images of Natavan in painting and graphics. In particular, the images of the poetess were created by Ogtay Sadygzade, Najafgulu Ismailov, Altai Hajiyev and others. The image of the poetess also attracted the attention of young artists. Chingiz Mehbaliyev, a representative of young artists of the republic, created an interesting thematic composition, which depicts a popular historical plot–a game of chess between Natavan and the famous French writer Alexander Dumas, who visited the Caucasus in the middle of the century before last. The article also talks about other sculptural images of Natavan, among which stands out the bust installed in Shusha, desecrated by Armenian vandals in the past, and now completely restored and returned to its original place.

The paper is devoted to the problem of research of the creativity of artists in the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (191820) in contemporary art criticism. The author notes that, through the efforts of artists who worked at that time, the artistic image of national thinking, which was destroyed after the Bolshevik capture of the country was established in art. These works were consigned to oblivion, many artists emigrated abroad, some were repressed. The paper highlights that the study of the creative heritage of these artists and the creation of a general panorama of the art of the period of the Democratic Republic is one of the priority directions of contemporary art history in Azerbaijan.

National sports in the creative works of two famous Azerbaijani artists-Alakpar Rzaguliyev and Khalida Safarova is relected in the paper. The author mentions that the domestic scenes with a display of the characteristic features of the life of citizens and kind of national sports took a special place in A. Rzakuliyev’s creativity. These and other paintings, created in the technique of linocut, are included in the cycle of graphic works by the artist called “Old Baku”. The subject of sport has a basic rolein Khalida Safarova’s creativity. The paintings in which are relected kind of national sports have a great value. In some compositions of the artist the riding game Chovkan is relected-a national sport, which in the past was widespread in Azerbaijan. Kh. Safarova’sdifferent works are characterized by expressiveness of actions, dynamism, display of national color and character. The composition “Struggle”, devoted to this widespread kind of national sports is also interesting.

В статье освещается творчество известного живописца и графика Таира Салахова в контексте классической советской и современной российской тематики. Поскольку ранее творчество художника в ракурсе данной проблематики практически не рассматривалось, эта тема является актуальной. Материалом служат пейзажи и портреты, созданные Салаховым в советский и постсоветский период. На них запечатлены городские панорамы, образы деятелей современной русской культуры, литературы, спорта, а нередко и простых соотечественников. В статье выделяется советская и далее российская тема в творчестве художника в отдельную тематическую структуру, проводится искусствоведческий анализа работ в свете этой тематики, показывается значение творчества Салахова в аспекте развития азербайджано-русских культурных взаимосвязей. Для осуществления этой цели выбран метод формального анализа, позволившего оценить произведения Салахова как структурально, так и в историко-тематическом плане, сравнивая их между собой, а также с картинами других художников, его современников. Результатом исследования стал новый тематический подход к работам художника. Отмечается, что советская, а ныне российская тема широко представлена в его портретах, среди которых особенно интересны портреты композитора Дмитрия Шостаковича, поэта Андрея Вознесенского, художника Бориса Ефимова и многих других. Цель настоящей статьи - исследование азербайджанских мотивов в творчестве известного русского живописца, народного художника РСФСР Федора Модорова. В середине 20-х гг. прошлого века Модоров, побывав в Азербайджане, создал ряд работ, посвященных нефтяной индустрии республики, а также истории и культуре азербайджанского народа. Несмотря на то, что от момента создания этих полотен прошел почти век, они до сих пор не были предметом отдельных изысканий. Автор попытался восполнить этот пробел - им осуществлена классификация относящихся к данной теме произведений художника, проведен их краткий искусствоведческий анализ и впервые дана оценка в художественном и историческом аспектах. В ходе исследования также было отмечено, что в наше время, когда культурные связи между Азербайджаном и Россией вступили в новую фазу, освещение их истории приобретает особое значение, позволяя народам обеих стран глубже узнать и оценить общее историко-художественное наследие.

В статье освещаются связи в области изобразительного искусства между Азербайджаном и Санкт-Петербургом. Исследуются фактические материалы, анализируются произведения, имеющие отношения к данным взаимосвязям. Это произведения живописи, скульптуры и графики, созданные в разное время ленинградскими и азербайджанскими художниками. Обосновывается значение научных поисков в этом направлении. В историческом плане исследование разделено на два основных этапа: советский и постсоветский, что является простейшей формой хронологического разделения. Такое деление является приемлемым, поскольку в данной статье не исследуется определенный период или область взаимоотношений, а предлагается общая методологическая форма искусствоведческого подхода. Главными направлениями в рассматриваемых взаимосвязях являются тематические произведения, учеба и проведение выставок (или иных мероприятий). Статья посвящена азербайджано-русским художественным связям досоветского периода. Автор отмечает, что Азербайджан привлек внимание русских художников уже со второй половины 18 века. Позже, после присоединения Северного Азербайджана к России, связи становятся постоянными. В частности, в Азербайджане побывали такие известные русские художники 19-20 веков, как Василий Верещагин, Алексей Боголюбов, Анна Остроумова-Лебедева и другие, запечатлевшие в своих композициях образцы историко-архитектурных памятников, быт и обычаи местного населения. В свою очередь, и азербайджанские художники тяготели к русской тематике, видя в ней почву для развития формирующегося реалистического искусства.

В статье говорится о графических произведениях Народного художника Азербайджана Джамиля Муфидзаде, созданных на тему Русского Севера. Во второй половине 70-х годов прошлого столетия художник совершил поездку в Архангельскую область и Якутию, которые впечатлили его суровой красотой северной природы, нелегким, но честным трудом простых тружеников-промысловиков, рыбаков, оленеводов. В графических композициях, созданных под впечатлением этих поездок, в реалистическом стиле изображены пейзажи-деревни, небольшие поселки, безлюдные просторы степей, реки и озера, историко-архитектурные памятники. Автор проанализировал ряд наиболее интересных композиций, созданных Дж. Муфидзаде на тему Русского Севера, отметив, что эти работы занимают достойное место в творческом наследии художника.

В ней впервые освещается творчество ЕС Самородова, ИГ Рыженко, МА Власова и других, дается оценка их деятельности, которая способствовала развитию культуры и искусства. Автор подчеркивает, что помимо творческой работы, многие художники были заняты и педагогической деятельностью, преподавали рисунок и живопись в училищах и институтах. Исследуя их творческую работу, автор заключает, что русские художники внесли существенный вклад в развитие реалистического изобразительного искусства Азербайджана в начальный период его формирования.

The article talks about the creation of the artistic image of the famous poetess Natavan in the fine arts of Azerbaijan. The author notes that interest in this image arose in the early 50s of the last century, when the 120th anniversary of the birth of the poetess was celebrated. Following the plastic portrait created by Omar Eldarov, the artists began to capture the images of Natavan in painting and graphics. In particular, the images of the poetess were created by Ogtay Sadygzade, Najafgulu Ismailov, Altai Hajiyev and others. The image of the poetess also attracted the attention of young artists. Chingiz Mehbaliyev, a representative of young artists of the republic, created an interesting thematic composition, which depicts a popular historical plot–a game of chess between Natavan and the famous French writer Alexander Dumas, who visited the Caucasus in the middle of the century before last. The article also talks about other sculptural images of Natavan, among which stands out the bust installed in Shusha, desecrated by Armenian vandals in the past, and now completely restored and returned to its original place.

The paper is devoted to the problem of research of the creativity of artists in the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (191820) in contemporary art criticism. The author notes that, through the efforts of artists who worked at that time, the artistic image of national thinking, which was destroyed after the Bolshevik capture of the country was established in art. These works were consigned to oblivion, many artists emigrated abroad, some were repressed. The paper highlights that the study of the creative heritage of these artists and the creation of a general panorama of the art of the period of the Democratic Republic is one of the priority directions of contemporary art history in Azerbaijan.

National sports in the creative works of …
National sports in the creative works of two famous Azerbaijani artists-Alakpar Rzaguliyev and Khalida Safarova is relected in the paper. The author mentions that the domestic scenes with a display of the characteristic features of the life of citizens and kind of national sports took a special place in A. Rzakuliyev’s creativity. These and other paintings, created in the technique of linocut, are included in the cycle of graphic works by the artist called “Old Baku”. The subject of sport has a basic rolein Khalida Safarova’s creativity. The paintings in which are relected kind of national sports have a great value. In some compositions of the artist the riding game Chovkan is relected-a national sport, which in the past was widespread in Azerbaijan. Kh. Safarova’sdifferent works are characterized by expressiveness of actions, dynamism, display of national color and character. The composition “Struggle”, devoted to this widespread kind of national sports is also interesting.
