Qədim Qubadov Azərbaycan Milli Elmlər Akademiyasının Nizami Gəncəvi adına Ədəbiyyat İnstitutunun Orta əsrlər Azərbaycan ədəbiyyatı şöbəsində aparıcı elmi işçi vəzifəsində çalışır və filologiya üzrə fəlsəfə doktoru elmi dərəcəsinə malikdir. Onun elmi fəaliyyəti əsasən orta əsrlər Azərbaycan ədəbiyyatına, xüsusilə sufilik, Səfəvi təriqəti, Füzulinin ədəbi təsiri və müxtəlif ədəbi janrların tədqiqinə yönəlmişdir. Elmmetrik göstəricilərə görə, Google Scholar-də 7 nəşr, 4 ümumi sitat və h-index 1 qeyd olunub, bu onun elmi təsirinin hazırda məhdud olduğunu, lakin gənc tədqiqatçı kimi fəaliyyət göstərdiyini göstərir. AMEA DərgiPark-da isə 1 nəşr və 1 sitatla qeydiyyata alınıb, bu da yerli elmi bazalarda daha az görünürlüyü əks etdirir. Nəşr dinamikası 2014-cü ildən 2023-cü ilə qədər davamlılıq nümayiş etdirir, ən son nəşrlər beynəlxalq kontekstdə sufilik mövzusuna diqqət yetirir. Ümumiyyətlə, onun elmi fəaliyyəti yerli ədəbiyyatşünaslıq sahəsində ixtisaslaşmış, beynəlxalq təsir baxımından inkişaf etməkdə olan profil təşkil edir.

For a long time there was a misconception that Fuzuli and other classical poets wrote their works for upper class, and therefore were far from ordinary people’s thinking. Indeed, it should be noted that from the first acquaintance with the works of each of our classics, who wrote in the Azerbaijani Turkic language, they used the rich treasury of oral folk literature.

Sufism was one of the main trends of ideas in the XI-XII centuries. Until the 11th century, the activities of Sufi thinkers, the direction of their ideas, along with the economic and social-political conditions, mainly determined their individual ways of life. From the end of the 10th century, Sufi communities were organized and began to spread widely. Individual sheikhs gathered many murids around them, and prepared their future followers according to the strict rituals they designed for them. The purpose of the article is to reveal that Azerbaijan is a Sufi spiritual and moral center. In the Middle Ages, as everywhere in the Islamic world, influential sheikhs grew up in Azerbaijan, and many Sufi spiritual and moral centers–sects (tariqas) were founded. One such sect was “Safawiyyah” founded by Sheikh Safiaddin Ardabili in the 13th century, which gained influence in a short period of time and gathered many disciples around it.“Safawiyya” sect has been under the influence of various ideas and Sufi currents since its inception. Among those Sufi teachings, the tradition of the “Suhrawardiyya” order is famous for playing an important role in the formation of “Safawiyya”. In this regard, the name of another sect should be mentioned.
