Onun elmi fəaliyyəti əsasən ədəbiyyatşünaslıq, folklor və dialektologiya sahələrində cəmlənmişdir, xüsusilə Irak-Türkmen ədəbiyyatı, XVI əsr Bağdad ədəbi mühiti və Azerbaycan dialektologiyası üzrə tədqiqatlarla diqqət çəkir. Google Scholar elmmetrik göstəricilərinə görə, 13 nəşri olmasına baxmayaraq, sitat göstəriciləri sıfırdır (n_citations: 0, h_index: 0, i10_index: 0), bu da nəşrlərinin beynəlxalq sitat təsirinin hələ məhdud olduğunu və ya əsasən yerli və regional nəşrlərdə cəmləndiyini göstərir. AMEA DərgiPark-da 5 nəşrin qeydiyyatı, fəaliyyətin institusional səviyyədə tanındığını əks etdirir. Nəşr dinamikası 2020-2025-ci illər arasında davamlılıq nümayiş etdirir, lakin sitat təsirinin olmaması beynəlxalq görünürlüyün inkişaf etdirilməsi üçün potensial olduğuna işarə edir. Baghdad literaty environment of the 16th century occupies a special place in scientific activity of the well-known scholar Ata Tarzibashı. The life and work of the poets such as Fuzuli, Ruhi Bagdadı, Ahdi Bagdadi, Fazli and others who grew up in the literary environment of Bagdad in the 16th century were extensively analyzed in Ata Tarzibash’s scientific articles and works. The book" Kirkuk poets", which is considered one of the main works of the scientist, also provides detailed information about the poets who grew up in this period. Ata Tarzibashi studied the works of poets who wrote and created in the literary envirament of Baghdad in the 16th century, mainly on the basis of Ahdi Baghdadi's work" Gulshani-shuara". The researches of the Kirkuk scholar about the poets of the 16th century in Baghdad are of special importance in terms of studying the Azerbaijani literature of that time.

The article examines the main features of …
The article examines the main features of the journalistic articles of Ata Tarzibashi, a prom-inent Iraqi-Turkmen scientist. Although Ata Tarzibashi's publicism is more scientific, it also cov-ered other topics. Depending on the conditions created by the existing political regimes in Iraq, Ata Tarzibashi's journalism differs from one another in terms of idea-content direction. His scien-tific-journalistic articles are mostly devoted to language and literature issues. In general, both scholarly and journalistic articles of the scientist focus on the existence of the Turkmen national identity in Iraq and the promotion of their literary and cultural heritage. After 2003, articles written about the known and unknown aspects of the genocide committed against the Turkmens in Kirkuk and surrounding cities formed the main line of Ata Tarzibashi's publicity.

Nizami Ganjavis “Khamsa” consisting of 5 poems attracts attention with its breadth and diversity. One of the main points that enriches this works is the sources used by the poets. Nizami made extensive use of both oral and written sources in his work. His simple lifestyle to create a basis for the use of folklore in his works. A number of legends, myths motifs served as a source for Nizamis poems. There is an example of folklor in “Treasure of Secrets”,“Seven Beauties” and “Leyli and Majnun”. Sheykh Nizami also preferred to choose his heroes from historical figures close to folklore. İskandar, Khosrov Parviz, Sultan Sanjar, Bahram Gur are given as the main heroes of folk legends. This proves once again that oral folk literature was one of the main sources of Nizami Gancavis works.

The article puts forward considerations regarding the location of geographically meaningful expressions such as “Turkman eli”,“Teke-Turkman”,“Turkman yurd” which are frequently found in the" Koroglu" epic, which holds a special place in the epic creativity of the Azerbaijani people. According to the researcher, the names of the buyer mentioned in the epic are more appropriate for the territory of Iraq where Turkomans live today. The author tried to justify his ideas in the article by drawing on both the text of the epic and historical facts. Since the area called Turkmaneli, where Turkomans live compactly in Iraq, is part of the Azerbaijani ethnocultural area, the" Koroglu" epos and the Jalali movement, which is the source of inspiration for the epic, did not bypass this area, and traces of the Turkomans living in Mesopotamia can also be seen in the epic.

Ata Terzibaşı, Irak Türkmenlerinin ünlü bilim adamlarından biridir. Ata Bey'in Türkmenlerin kültürü, tarihi, dili ve edebiyatı hakkında yazdığı yazılar Türk dünyasında her zaman ilgiyle karşılanmıştır. Hem Arapça hem de Türkçeyi bilmesi, edebiyatı daha derinlemesine araştırmasını sağladı. Onun "Kerkük şairleri", "Erbil şairleri", "Türkmen'in Keşkülü", "Kerkük Hoyratları ve Manileri", "Fuzuli'nin İcmali Aşk Kitabı Tercümesi" ve diğer kitapları Türkmen edebiyatı için çok değerli anlatılardır. Ata Bey'in Türkmen folkloru üzerine yaptığı birçok araştırma hem kitaplarda hem de çeşitli dergi ve gazetelerde yayımlandı. Yayınladığı “Hoyratlarımızda “Güzel” Kavramı”, “Nasrettin Hoca Hakkında Yeni Belgeler”, “Sembolik Bir Müstezat Hoyrat” ve diğer makaleleri onun Türkmen folklorunu derinden bildiğini göstermektedir. Ata Terzibaşı'nın Arapça ve Türkçe bilgisi, klasik edebiyat üzerine bilimsel araştırmalar yapmasını sağlamıştır. Makalelerinde Ruhi Bağdadi, Ahdi, Kavsi, Fehmi ve diğer şairlerin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında değerli bilgiler vermiştir. Bize göre büyük Azeri-Türkmen şairi Fuzuli, Ata Terzibaşı'nın önde gelen araştırmalarından biridir. Arapça ve Türkçe yazdığı eserlerindeki zımni anlamların açıklamasını vererek Fuzuli'nin daha iyi anlaşılmasını sağlamıştır. Fuzuli'nin en çok araştırılan eseri Matlu ül Etikad'dır. Ata Terzibaşı da bu eserle ilgili araştırmalar yapmış ve önemli bilgilere ulaşmıştır. Ata Terzibaşı ilk önce Fuzuli'nin Kerkük'te doğduğunu iddia etti. Ata Terzibaşı'nın Türkmen edebiyatı üzerine yazdığı en önemli eser Kerkük şairleri ve Erbil şairleri kitaplarıdır. Bu kitaplar Türk dünyasında büyük ilgiyle karşılandı.

Makalede Irak-Türkmen edebiyatında hikaye türü ve onun Osmanlı edebiyatında mevcut olan hikaye yaratıcılığından farklı yönlerini araştırmışımdır. Günümüze kadar bir çok araştırmacı Irak-Türkmen edebiyatında ilk hikaye gibi Mekki Lebibin "Gözlük" eserini kabul etse de, şu makalede ilk hikayenin Mahmud Nedim tarafından yazıldığını kanıtlamışımdır. Şu hikaye 1909. yılında "Mübarezeyi-Aşk" adı ile yayınlanmıştır. XVI. yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren Osmanlı edebiyatı Irak-Türkmen edebiyatına dil ve mövzu açısından etkide bulunmuşdur. Makalede bunu bir kaç yönde kanıtlamışızdır. Birincisi Irak-Türkmen edebiyatında hikaye türü Osmanlı edebiyatı ile mükayisede geç yaranmıştır. Tanzimat Devri ve "Serveti-Funun" zamanının ana özellikleri Irak-Türkmen edebiyatına yansımamışdır. Bundan ilave bir sıra kaynağlarda Irak-Türkmen edebiyatında ilk hikayenin Ahmet Midhet Efendi tarafından yazılması da söyleniyor. Onun "Kıssadan Hisse" hikaye kitapı Bağdatda basılsa da, şu hikayeni Irak-Türkmen edebiyatına aid etmek hiç doğru olmaz. Irak-Türkmen edebiyatında hikaye türü daha çok siyasi mevzuları kapsasa da Osmanlı edebiyatında daha çok romantizmin ön planda olduğu biliniyor. Şu da Avrupa hikayeçiliğinin etkisi gibi kabul edilmelidir. Irakda hikaye türü siyasi koşullar yüzünden meydana çıkş=mış ve bu mevzularda yaranmıştır. Makalede Irak-Türkmen edebiyatının hikaye türünün sonrakı yıllarında gelişmesine de kısa şekilde yer ayırmışımdır. Böyle ki, siyasi koşullar altında yaranan hikaye türü sonrakı zamanlarda daha geniş ve farklı mevzuları da kapsamışdır.

16. yüzyılda Bağdat'ın edebiyat ortamında yazan ve üreten sanatçılardan biri de Ruhi Bağdadi'dir. Ruhi Bağdadi, döneminin en büyük şairlerinden biri olarak kabul edilir. Şairin hayatı hakkında fazla bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Bu bilgiler çoğunlukla şairin kendi şiirlerinden elde edilebilir. Bu yazımızda şairin birçok şiirinde adı geçen Şirvan'daki Çalı köyü hakkında araştırma yaptık. Birçok araştırmacı bu köyün Azerbaycan sınırları içinde olduğunu iddia ediyor. Ancak yaptığımız araştırmalar sonucunda Şirvan'ın Çalı köyünün Azerbaycan sınırları içinde değil, Irak sınırları içinde olduğu ortaya çıktı. Irak'ta Türkmenlerin yoğun olarak yaşadığı Şirvan adı verilen birkaç bölge bulunmaktadır. İlginç olanı ise bu bölgelerde Çalı isminde köylerin de bulunmasıdır. Bu açıdan bakıldığında, Azerbaycan klasik edebiyatının önemli temsilcilerinden biri olarak kabul edilen Ruhi Bağdadi'ye şiirleri ve hizmetleri karşılığında bağışlanan köyün yerinin belirlenmesi önemli görülmüştür. Çali köyünün yerinin tesbit edilmesi de Ruhi Bağdadi gibi bir şairin hayatının bir kesitine ışık tutması açısından önemlidir.

The article puts forward considerations regarding the location of geographically meaningful expressions such as “Turkman eli”,“Teke-Turkman”,“Turkman yurd” which are frequently found in the" Koroglu" epic, which holds a special place in the epic creativity of the Azerbaijani people. According to the researcher, the names of the buyer mentioned in the epic are more appropriate for the territory of Iraq where Turkomans live today. The author tried to justify his ideas in the article by drawing on both the text of the epic and historical facts. Since the area called Turkmaneli, where Turkomans live compactly in Iraq, is part of the Azerbaijani ethnocultural area, the" Koroglu" epos and the Jalali movement, which is the source of inspiration for the epic, did not bypass this area, and traces of the Turkomans living in Mesopotamia can also be seen in the epic.
